Objective
I have recently retired from Bellsouth/AT&T with 32 years of service. I worked 7 years in clerical positions and 25 years in customer service positions
Summary
I worked from 1976-1983 as a clerk. I handled multiple phones, filed mass filings, sent work orders around the United States via a TWX machine, distributed incoming work orders and handled time reports for issuance of paychecks
I worked as a customer service representative in the Residential Collections Department from 1983-1998. I worked primarily over the phone but also handled customers face-to-face. I handled billing inquiries, payment arrangements, billing disputes, fraud accounts and final bill resolution.
I won the Peak Performer award in 1998 for being the top collections representative in Nashville Tennessee.
I worked in the Bellsouth Business Department from 1998 thru 2008. I handled customer orders over the phone and face-to-face. I took orders for new service, changes to existing service and moving service from one location to another. I also handled billing inquiries, payment arrangements, billing disputes and final bill resolution.
In 2005 thru 2008, I worked directly with the Account Executives by training them on the different systems provided by Bellsouth, helping them implement complicated telephony orders such as Basic Rate ISDN, Primary Rate ISDN, ADSL, and helping them with service order coordination and billing issues.
