Project Details:

Project #1: TNEB & UPCL (Tamil Nadu Electricity Board & Uttarkhad Power Corporate Limited)

Description: TNEB & UPCL governments are going to prepare a Geospatial Database for towns of their states with satellite imagery showing the buildings foot points, road networks and other selected man made features required to support its own various social and economical project for Electricity establishments.

Steps in the project: Sequentially, Satellite imagery Ortho Rectification, Ground Control Points (GCPs) collection and Digital Geo Database creation.

Duration: April 2011 to Till Date.

Software: Erdas Imagine, ArcGIS, AutoCAD.

Role: Team Leader.

Project #2: 3D Modeling of Shopping Mall

Description: Drafting of Shopping mall plan in 3D. For this project client has given 2D floor plan, sections, detail drawings of Mall already prepared as reference. By using these drawings we have to generate 3D model for shopping mall.

Duration: Feb 2011 to March 2011.

Software: Revit Architecture & AutoCAD.

Role: Digitization.

Project #3: Tata HAL

Description: Digitization of Plane parts and fully mechanical oriented project. Digital conversion of Plane ducting Maps. These maps are too old so client wants to convert all their maps into cad file format. Digitization should be as per map. By converting maps into Cad format can avoid damages to original maps & easy to update, etc…Project flow digitization, layer management, and QC.

Duration: October 2010 to January 2011.

Software: AutoCAD.

Role: Digitization, QC.

Project #4: Digitization of Architectural Maps

Description: This project is from Germany, client wants to convert all their architectural maps into cad files format. Everything has to digitize as per original map provided. Dimensions are as per map and its display also same as on map. Project flow digitization, layer management, and QC.

Duration: May 2010 to September 2010.

Software: AutoCAD.

Role: Digitization, QC.

Project #5: Digitization of facility management drawings for Retail Outlets

Description: Digitization of facility management is to digitize different types of racks, refrigerators, tables and etc… present in Architectural drawings of stores. For that, client has given drawings of stores and we should capture the above mentioned with 3'x3' and 4'x4' feet racks. Client has given different specification to digitize different things mentioned above. By using this information client can track easily and also making modification is very easier in future.

Duration: April 2010 to May 2010.

Software: AutoCAD

Role: Digitization, QC, drawing cleanup and topology creation.

Project #6: Land Records (Geo Marvell)

Description: Objective of this project is conversion of cadastral maps of villages and storing in the form of vector images. Advantages of this project are easy to store, very easy to retrieve and avoiding further damages to original maps. Project flow digitization of maps, layer management and placing of symbols, etc…

Duration: March 2010 to April 2010.

Software: AutoCAD, Arc GIS.

Role: Digitization, QC and Mapfinishing

Project #7: Madhya Pradesh Land Records (MPLR)

Description: Creation of Spatial Database (Digitization) for village Cadastral Maps. Land Records and settlements, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior has decided to digitize the cadastral maps of all villages and store it in from of vector images. Facilitates its easy storage, retrieval and access to the public and functionaries of the department. Further damages to the original records can be avoided (Digitization) for village cadastral maps.

Project flow, collecting hard copy of maps, scanning those maps, image cleaning, indexing. Digitization of scanned maps, and edge matching of sheets and then providing vector data and hardcopy plots.

Output data is exported in Arc.shp or ARC Geo Database file format.

Duration: June 2008 to September 2009(6months).

Software: AutoCAD, ArcGIS.

Role: Digitization, more participation in QC, Mapfinishing and shape file creation.

Project #8: Dubai Police

Description: Requirement of this project is to provide texturing for 3D-Buildings. This can be done in two ways 1) Auto Texturing, 2) Real texturing. For this purpose we are using .3ds files and real orthos as inputs. With the help of .3ds files we have to provide auto texturing to 3D-Buildings without disturbing the top of the building texture.

Duration: November 2009 to December 2009.

Software: Auto Desk 3ds Max.

Role: Providing auto texturing to 3d buildings.

Project #9: City of San Jose (CSJ)

Description: This project is to capture the road network of San Jose city. As per the client specifications, we need to capture features like Curb and Gutter, Side Walk and Side Walk centerline, Meridians, and Islands, etc… For this project client has given Aerial images as raw inputs and road centerline. Finally we have to give GDB as per road centerline.

Duration: September 2009 to October 2009.

Software: MicroStation, AutoCAD, Arc GIS.

Role: Digitization, Mapfinishing step using AutoCAD.

Project #10: Ministry of National Economy (MoNE)

Description: MoNE – Sultanate of Oman is seeing to continue the process of covering the population (towns and villages) in Sultanate of Oman with Geospatial Database from satellite imagery showing the buildings foot points, farm outlines, road networks and other selected man made features required to support its own various social and economical project for population, housing and establishments 2010.

Steps in the project: Sequentially DTM production, Satellite imagery Ortho Rectification, Digital Geo Database creation, and Ground Control Points (GCPs) collection.

Duration: September 2008 to November 2009(1Year).

Software: MicroStation, AutoCAD, Arc GIS.

Role: Creation of Geo Database, in this step I have done digitization, QC, Mapfinishing and GDB creation.

Project #11: Steel Authority of India LTD (SAIL)

Description: SAIL – Conversion of all the cadastral maps of SAIL under taken areas and plant. To digitize the cadastral maps and plant maps of SAIL and store in the form of vector images. Further damages to the original maps can be avoided, and it is to track the areas under government. Capturing the buildings and quarters of SAIL has captured from satellite images with areas accurate and shapes as given by department.

Project flow, collecting hardcopy of maps, scanning those maps, indexing, digitization and edge matching of sheets.

Duration: December 2007 to June 2008.

Software: AutoCAD, Arc GIS.
