Work Accomplishments:
1988 to October 2010: Rockwell International-KSC, now United Space Alliance (name change only). Product Support Manager, Logistics Engineer. End of Shuttle Program retirement.
Space Shuttle Critical Mission Expendable data base Manager –Curator responsible for all updating, reporting of mission critical space shuttle parts, and subsystems for each launch, recent assignment.
Space Shuttle Launch Pad Change out Part Data Base for critical repairs that could be preformed while Space Shuttle is on launch Pad.
WEB Curator & Author to support Mission Expendable and Pad Change out data bases kept current at all time. Mgt and other groups relied on info .
Safety, Security Officer. Recent additional assignment for Logistics Engineering. Special briefings on Safety & Security normally done by each manager. Revise briefing; condense into concise upbeat briefings to entire division, one group at a time. Safety Inspections of work area and encourage safe practices in a positive way. Fire Marshal complemented our group on high level of safety.
Space Shuttle System Purge, Vent Drain: Completely upgrade support of major Flight systems in Space Shuttle spare, repair, coordinate interface with Design, System Engineering, quality, Vendor support. One year to resolve long term issues then hand off in a fully supported system that runs smoothly.
State of Art Hazardous Sensor selection and Management Team. Serving as member of State of Art hazardous sensor program for KSC (HVDS) COTS team. Innovative concept to replace existing systems, with up to date sensors, computer systems, and data links, that save capital, and improve life cycle cost. This is Path finding concept for many other NASA, Military, Civilian sites.
Manage thousands of specialized materials, fasteners, machined parts for major Shuttle spare and repairs to maintain uninterrupted vehicle processing during all phases of launch at Rockwell Aerospace, United Space Alliance as Logistics Engineer. Utilize providing chemical and raw material computational analysis support in diverse, fast-paced environment. Serve as technical liaison with Engineering, Material, and Process, coordinate facility and hardware modifications and manage computer parts data bases. Resolved contractor-client problems for the Program. Management cited savings of hundreds of thousand dollars over the years by careful analysis, specification improvement, and ordering of materials.
Product Support Manager for Life Science missions project that improved customer relations by providing superior support. Instrumental in the customer's final decision making to manufacture product at NASA Depot located in Cocoa Beach, Florida at 50% cost savings to the Shuttle Program. Resolved engineering, manufacturing, and support issues which took system from being a single point failure, impacting launch, to being prepared to support all phases of real-time launch processing. This saved the program millions of dollars according to NASA. Received NASA award for effort. Letters of commendation from Lockheed/Martin.
2005 to 2010: Security Assistance Corp. Consulting concurrent off duty from shuttle job. Work directly with NASA-KSC for Dept NA which is Technical Science Field operations at Cape Canaveral Air Force Base at Launch Complex 20 test center, NASA & USAF. Inventory Mgr Project Engineer, Security. Program completed, end consultant.
2009 to 2011: Federal Fire-Rescue Academy Certifications & Florida State Fire Certifications toward Certified Fire –Rescue Professional. Professional Interface with Paid Fire depts. across jurisdictions in Florida.

Managed Sensitive Projects, Logistics Engineering and Advanced Projects consisting of major flight systems such as electronic/mechanical guidance control systems. Responsible for working technical issues between departments such as Engineering, Quality, and Material & Processing laboratories. Coordinated material deliveries with shop fabrication for classified military air frames; including part loan with other co-producer of dual source product to keep both production lines in operation to support program. On Team resolved Dock-to-Stock part documentation and distribution system which improved production efficiency.
Programs Supported included BGM-109, Tomahawk Cruise Missile, Harpoon Missile, F15 fighter, ACES 2 ejection seat. Lockheed/ Martin C130 Hercules enthusiast. Supplied material to AC130U Spectra, 1996 through Rockwell.
