•Co-developed and implemented quality control system for design, manufacturing , final assembly, shipping.

•Continuous improvement; responsible for final inspection, FMEAs, PM tasks plan, SPC data gathering and reporting, safety reviews and risk assessments.

•Experienced at detailed AIAG reporting. Work within Tier I quality requirements.

Design Engineering Supervisor, Oxbow Machine Products 1999-2004

•Supervise department of 3D CAD designers.

•Responsible of approx, $1.5 Million of design per year in fixtures and tools for automotive assembly

Including Articulating arms, Torque tubes, automated Sub Assembly tables, conveyors, and fastening fixtures. Some to hold 6 Sigma tolerances.

• Responsible to take in new work, present new designs, and strategies to customer for review and approval, present new equipment to customer for trial and testing.

•Engineering representative on committee for job quoting, tracking, and delivery.

•Procure product information and fixture criteria from customer; design special machinery to customer specs. Using AutoCAD “Mechanical Desktop 6” (3D), and manual design techniques.
