SUMMARY:
EXPERIENCE
From the Far East to the Middle East, from the Pentagon to the Air Force Academy, my
extensive military and civilian careers have provided me an invaluable background, rich in
life experience and opportunities to lead, command, manage, supervise, teach, instruct, and
counsel.
CIVILIAN AND MILITARY
A wide range of aviation experience both in the Air Force and with major and regional
Airlines. During my military career, both active duty and reserve, I flew a wide range of
aircraft (C-47s, KC-135s, C-130s) and served in a number of non-flying positions.
After active duty , my aviation career continued as a pilot for Frontier Airlines (original
Frontier) which was later acquired by Continental Airlines, and also as a pilot in the Air Force
Reserve. With Frontier and Continental I had the opportunity to fly a wide variety of aircraft
(DHC-6, CV-580, B-737, B-727, DC-10, B-777).
I also had the opportunity to serve Frontier in a management and supervisory capacity as an
Assistant Manager of Aircraft Appearance, and an Assistant Supervisor of Flight Attendant
Scheduling.
EDUCATION
An educational background that includes a Master's Degree in Human Relations and

At the Air Force Academy I served as an instructor and teacher of Military Science and was

The Military Science Courses at the Academy included military history, management,
organization, strategy and tactics, as well as fundamental military regulations and standards.
These courses also emphasized development of teamwork, character, and leadership.
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
As commander of an Air Force Reserve squadron, I had the responsibility to oversee the
training of aircrew, aircraft maintenance support, and administrative personnel. This
squadron had a wide variety of wartime and peacetime missions. The primary mission
included strategic as well as tactical airlift, airland, and airdrop. Domestic missions included

The skill required of these missions required extensive training, teamwork, and dedication.
