OBJECTIVE
Efficient and dedicated professional seeking a challenging position in coding and/or auditing where acquired skills and education will be utilized to the fullest.
OVERVIEW
Recently worked and completed a coding/consulting position as a subcontractor for Osler Medical Incorporated from Nov. 2011 to Feb. 2012. Assisted patient account
reps by auditing records and surgical reports to submit and/or resubmit new and denied claims for collection of any outstanding balances. This was done following coding guidelines to assure claims were clean, accurate and all necessary paperwork was submitted. The company was in the process of closing existing accounts after being purchased.
Self-motivated and detailed with over 30 years of experience in the medical profession to include clinical, management and 10 years of coding, I recently enrolled in an AAPC approved course to gain certification as a professional coder. With exceptional grades I am confident that I will pass the national exam on June 2, 2012.
