Responsible for all warehousing and distribution operations in the southwest U.S. for Michaels and Aaron Brothers Stores.
Facility responsibility includes a 765,000 square foot distribution center, 150,000 distribution center for Aaron Brothers, and a satellite distribution center with a total distribution responsibility of 1.1 million square feet and 20,000 skus.
Implemented continuous improvement plans that resulted in a 7% average productivity
improvement over the last 12 years.
Started a part time and flexible workforce staffing structure that has reduced overtime by 50% and
payroll expense by 20%.
Key member of the design and construction of 2 DC expansions and 2 DC greenfield projects.
Project lead for network conveyor optimization project resulting in a carton flow through
