For my jewelry and metalworking courses brass, nickel, and copper were the basic class resources. Silver was used on two main pieces (photos are available on request) a bookmark and a spoon. Silver is my preferred medium of choice.

-Soldering (propane handheld torch and/or acetylene tank with torch attachment)
-Sawing
-Drilling
-Buffing
-Wire and jump ring fabrication
-Basic enameling
-Patina (liver of sulfur etc)
-Use of epoxy and basic stone setting
-Chasing and brazing
-Shaping and fabrication of pieces
I also have knowledge and ability to advise in these areas as well as metal/jewel substance and aesthetic design
I can operate/advise customers on the following tools and materials
-Dual wheeled buffing machine
-Torches
-Use of flux and silver in soldering
-Qualities and characteristics of silver, gold, brass, copper, nickel, and pewter
-Jeweler's saw
-Electric drill
-Basic hand tools (various hammers, clamps, jeweler's pliers, metal snippers, chain cutters
-Foredom tool (electric hand drill -foot pedal operated)
Other non-jewelry related attributes include basic working and understanding of Microsoft Office software, Hard working, Willing to work late to complete tasks, Can lift up to 100lbs, Quick learner, Agreeable and understanding towards customers, Knowledge of artistic rules of aesthetic design.
