Concurrently dispatched as Computer Support Expert by CallGeekstoGo, Field Nation, Field Solutions, Sears, Dell and others providing expert on-site support for all kinds of businesses and home users. Often diagnose and repair more than 12 workstations and peripherals in a day. Designer and Developer of software for Fire Departments where less than two years of use dropped ISO rating from 7 to 3 effectively slashing all home and business owner insurance premiums more than 50%. While working part-time as Hyundai Motors Inspector, I recently invented a new tool used to eliminate 80% of recalls. I managed the 1st ticket sales software project for University of Alabama Football. Received rave reviews as the Microsoft Office Professional, Active Directory and Outlook expert. Routinely supported ten unfamiliar mainframe applications with no help. Single-handedly solved 30 software and hardware issues each day. Composed entire new knowledge database and trained new support personnel.

March 2003 to March 2004: Systems Administrator and Support Specialist Alabama Dept of Public Health: solely supported 6000+ providers submitting health insurance claims as states Medicare server guru. In less than 3 months finished a 7 year old project to put Nursing Home Deficiencies on the web. Dismissed for insubordination when manager’s manager demanded I lie about facts regarding PDF’s; and I refused.

May 1982 to February 1997: Computer Systems Manager University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL Intercollegiate Athletics: Played for Paul Bear Bryant. Pioneered the first Intranets; set up servers and routers before Windows. Networked 1st PCs and interfaced with mainframes. Created 1st shared databases eliminating duplicity. Also worked directly with national winning head football Coach Gene Stallings to develop 1st digital force-sled. Strategically assisted business office and coaching staff originating software, i.e. national gymnastics scoring.

August 1980 to May 1987: Manager/Instructor ComputerLand, Entre’ Computers and Valcom: Developed courseware taught in learning centers nationwide. Published children’s Mikro BASIC. Hired and managed 7 instructors. Tutor and FORTRAN grader. Instructor at the University of Alabama.

November 1982 to May 1984: Programmer TubeTec Inc., Sanford FL: Responsible for accounting and inventory software run on first business computers TRS-80s.
