Maintenance Supervisor - Naval Engineering Support Unit July 2011-Present

Provide leadership, coordination and direction for shipboard maintenance and repair; supervise seventeen (17) mechanics, thirteen (13) electricians and five (5) welders, responsible for all planning and scheduling of ship maintenance. Worked to determine work priority and establish workflow processes that support operations goals. Maintained hands on approach to providing assistance in the repair, maintenance and installation of all machinery. Maintenance and repairs to include main propulsion engine replacement, engine to marine gear alignment, marine gear to shaft alignment, generator replacement (electrical and diesel side), electrical switchboard, electrical control system, diesel engine repair, piping system repair, pump repair, marine gear repair, brazing/welding, air conditioning and refrigeration systems (HVAC), potable water systems, sewage systems and hydraulic systems.
