Software Engineer – 9500 Packet (IP) Radio (2008 – 2011)
Completed a variety of software projects with minimum supervision and requirements.
• Created, wrote in C, integrated, and tested an interim solution for a data retrieval feature preventing a delay in release
• Implementing and testing a database migration upgrade allowing software updates without customer re-provisioning
• Converted user help files to a new help tool, JavaHelp, to improve navigation and usefulness
• Created user interface specifications including VLAN 802.1 provisioning for the ANSI features and wrote the Java code to implement the screens
• Set up a test bed to run automatic scripts to verify new software features and wrote VB scripts to control the interface equipment
Project Engineer – MDR-8000 Second Generation Ethernet Interface (2005 – 2008)
Managed the next generation Ethernet interface project. Developed system requirements and managed development activities of 8 engineers.

Led a team of 3 software engineers in the creation of the software features of the MDR-8000 Ethernet and OC3 interfaces.
• Set up a scalable object-oriented software structure in C which allowed the quick addition of new features
