Additionally, we lived in a non-expatriate community and learned to not only speak Mandarin, but to use it on a daily basis to shop, live and integrate into the urban Chinese community in the heart of Shanghai, China.
Interests
-I consider myself an aspiring amateur athlete and have competed in triathlons and in varying races (running). Currently working on my 200-hour yoga alliance teacher certification, I am a dedicated practitioner and find the practice both challenging and therapeutic. My personal performance goals outside the workplace are instrumental in shaping my professional habits as well as a highly developed work ethic.
-I served as the president of a local chapter of a worldwide women's organization, organizing women for charitable acts, providing weekly classes and monthly workshops as well as attending to the special needs of over 200 families in the surrounding local area.
-I have a great love of serving in the community and currently work as a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America.
