Electrical Foreman

I am responsible for infrastructure and secondary installations of equipment in an underground zinc mine, as well as, installing and maintaining underground communications. Our primary infrastructure is 13,800 volts and secondary voltages of 600v and below. I handle all aspects of the installation and maintenance of all electrical components. I am trained in high voltage terminations and Hi-Pot testing equipment. I must keep detailed records of testing and maintenance to comply with federal mining regulations. I am a hand on foreman. We install substations, step down transformers, buck and boost transformers, and various other equipment.

GWAW certified welder for steel and aluminum. Construct ship components according to military specifications. Training included welding school and acetylene torch school. Left in order to relocate due to cut backs from the military, as well as to alleviate a hundred mile commute each way.

Owned and operated a residential construction company. My experience includes framing, trim carpentry, roofing, electrical (commercial and industrial equipment installs) excavation, job estimating, project management, sub-contractor management, office management, and codes compliance. I was a state licensed General Contractor. I operate equipment such as skid loaders, back hoes, track hoes, and fork lifts.
