Responsibilities include the implementation of global Risk and Insurance mitigation strategies and services for all business divisions and 21 different operating companies.

Responsibility and accountability for all risk and compliance programs in the organization. Include the solicitation and purchase of annually coverage’s and their limits. Management of claims and loss control activities as well as the relationships with third party service providers including brokers, insurers and other TPAs, preparing loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, design and implementing programs, promoting loss prevention, updating and monitoring compliance with insurance procedures and managing the Environmental Health and Safety/risk management programs for the company. Perform actuarial analysis and feasibility study to determine company’s reserves levels.

Additional duties include the management of the company litigation suits with outside council and the development and formulating of different defense options for each case .Coordinates all insurance and bonding requirements for the companies contract bonding program.

Develops safety and loss control functions for the organization and directs EH&S staff in 36 states. Designs and directs programs to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure. Maintain compliance with governmental regulatory agencies and customer requirements.

Designated company-wide Facility Security Officer (FSO) with responsibility for implementing and maintaining the firm’s National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)

Currently maintain a Personal security classification of “Secrete”

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Was able to reduce the companies reserve levels by 10% in 2008

• Realized cost savings in insurance premium of 2.5 million dollars in 2005 and a additional 1.75 million in 2007 and another $ 1,500,000 in 2009

• Reduced National Workers Compensation Insurance modification rate of 0.87 for 2005 to 0.67 for 2006

• Achieved a 70% reduction in the cost of Workers Compensation and General Liability claims.

• Developed and directed major transitions for acquisitions

Perform feasibility study to determine quantitative and qualitative assessments of establishing an captive for reinsurance.
