My duties as a toddler teacher were similar to the infants exept the toddlers were on the higher reach curriculum. We had circle time were we learned alphabets, numbers, animals and sounds, colors, and nursery rhymes. We sang, read books, also we learned everyday sign language dealing with play and food. I had to record each childs behavior, any marks or bruises, each meal, and what supplies the child needed as far as change of clothes,pull-ups,blankets etc..
My duties as a Pre-K teacher were to teach the abeka curriculum each child had a math, reading, letters and sounds, blend, writting tablet, and signing book. We had daily devotion bible time. We did our numbers and colors in spanish. We did daily poems and also had career days were people with different occupations would come and tell the children what their job is.
My goal is to make sure your child learns but has fun. you can only keep a child's attention for so long thats why it is important to make learning interesting and fun at the same time.
