I was responsible for managing fifteen employees to insure they worked in a safe manner and completed job assignments in a timely manner. On the computer, I used Windows daily and some power point. In addition to overseeing and managing my department, I would run machines in the absence of one of my employees. I have OSHA Certification in General Industry Safety and Health , Have Forklift certification, Lockout Tagout, and MSDS training. I am also certified in CPR, AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens. I have experience with most hand tools, Air and electric and can run band saws and Cold saws. Have run lathes and Bridgeport mills but am not as fast as a machinist.

Linear Dynamics, Inc

I was employed in shipping as a forklift driver. In a short period of time, I was promoted to head of shipping. The plant manger rewarded me with an outstanding reference when I left the company to pursue employment with Royston LCC which was closer to my home and aligned more to my mechanical skills.

Mitchel & Scott Machine Co.

My employment was with a production factory which made diesel engine parts for Cummins, Allisons, and Caterpillar. I was promoted to leadman over fifteen employees who ran automatic screw machines. I was responsible for setting up machines, the maintenance and troubleshooting, training, working on computer files, insuring QC methods were used, and making inspection gauges. While employed by this company I completed courses in Management Development, SPC, Hazard Communication, and was a medical tech for the plant.
