Objective: Seeking an internship in commercial recreation management.

Work Experience:

• Volunteered at the Fair Oaks Parks and Recreation Center for their 2008 Halloween Carnival as one of their event planners. I helped with implementing, developing procedures and requirements, and oversee and supervise the event itself.

• Helped Sacramento State’s Sport Club with planning and developing event management templates for home competitions of sports club. Attend, observe and review event management of each sports club hosting home competitions and making sure events are properly set-up. Assist with any issues that may rise at the event as well as help prepare, plan and market for Sac Night at the River Cats baseball team.

• Took a class about management roles and responsibilities in different recreational professions. Presented one of the manager roles and asked the audience questions and help them understand why it’s important in what managers should know.
