Read and follow all policies and procedures and perform quality control as set fourth in the laboratory manuals. Adhere to the laboratories quality assurance program. Responsible for compliance with OSHA, CLIA, CAP and FDA guidelines. Assures a safe and clean working environment and follows all instrument cleaning protocols. Performs and schedules complete routine semen analysis and provides patient notification of semen analysis results. Responsible for cryopreservation of semen samples and maintains cryo records/database. Performs the processing, labeling and identification of specimens for intrauterine inseminations, alloquates media and maintains IUI database. Performs all in house endocrine testing by immunoassay using VIDAS on patient serum. Reconstitutes internal and external controls needed and reviews VIDAS controls for statistical analysis. Runs QC samples for each analyte that is analyzed each day. Documents patient results in EMR and communicates test results to physician and patients. Responsible for blood collection and uses universal precautions. Acknowledges patient, identifies and prepares collection site appropriately, draws tubes in correct order and disposes sharps correctly. Orders and stocks supplies for procedure rooms in both clinical and IVF laboratories. Responsible for billing of sperm and embryo cryopreservation storage.
IVF Laboratory: -MRC
Orders and stocks media and supplies. Sets up laboratory before each IVF series. Responsible for performing and recording media ph/ incubator environment. Adjusts
incubators if necessary. Prepares all semen samples with appropriate protocol. Responsible for preparing and labeling all case dishes with specific media. Experience with Oocyte retrieval, insemination of oocytes, cutting cumulus cells and stripping eggs in preparation for ICSI, blastocyst cryopreservation and embryo thaw. Limited experience with ICSI and Embryo grading. Observed several embryo transfers and the patient identification process. Responsible for quality assurance using AAB techniques.

Collect crop samples and accurately analyze the weight, moisture, and contamination of the grain. Care for livestock and poultry, including the cleaning, feeding, weighing, and medication of animals. Diagnose by physical examination the sickness and disorders of livestock. Adeptly consult with veterinarians to determine proper treatment. Possess the willingness to stick with a task until the job is done, regardless of the time commitment. Able to quickly prioritize needs and establish work schedules yet maintain the flexibility to adjust as the demands change.
