Regular duties: OEM equipment technician for multiple CNC platforms i.e. Routers, Water Jets Plasma, Oxy and knife cutting machines. Performed installations and training on machine operation, and programming in addition to specific applications cutting techniques. Conducted 50% of support via phone. Solutions typically required 50% mechanical, 25% electrical and 25% software.

Conducted Electronic Warfare System maintenance, supported initial field testing of a new Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device System (RCIED). Training was given by one of the designing engineers at the production facility in Syracuse NY. Lessons covered system installation on multiple military and civilian vehicles, operation diagnostics/troubleshooting and repair procedures. On site in a dynamic multi-contractor/government environment and participated as part of an integrated product team for test and analysis. Served as the Production Engineer as needed and full time Lead Technician during an upgrade assembly line to optimize system capabilities. Managing twelve other Field Service Representatives upgrading over 8,000 systems in country (Iraq) each system taking an average of four hours to complete the assembly line process.

Upgrade purpose was to open radio frequency range, output power and Xilinx access to the DDS and DSP. Consisting of installing one additional amplifier, multiple RF hard lines, upgraded firmware on Digital Signal Processor and Direct Digital Synthesizer, soldered 26 gauge wires to DSUB connector, replaced cannon plug and circuit breaker. Crimp 26 gauge contacts and inserted into Molex connector. Checked continuity between solder joints, Molex connector and DSUB connector. Post of final assembly system is run through Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to optimize system capabilities.
