Summary:
Seventeen years of dyeing/bleaching supervisory and management experience in union and non-union manufacturing operations. Education experience includes induction into the “National Technical College Honor Society” which recognizes Honor graduates from two-year colleges. Presently, I am Senior, with three courses remaining, maintaining a perfect 4.0 at the university level, while pursuing a bachelors degree concentrated in business management. Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience includes earning a “Lean Six-Sigma” greenbelt certification by completing an eighty-hour certification course. I have completed a DMAIC project, several kaizen and pdca events, implemented 5s, Overall Equipment Effectiveness and standard operating procedures at the department and plant levels. Certification leadership experience includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949, QS9000 and Tier 1 designated. Trial experience includes evaluation of new processes, products, procedure and production equipment. Computerized payroll system experience includes 12 years of using “Windstar” and “Kronos” time and attendance tracking systems. ERP experience includes being trained and designated as an “ORACLE” super-user at the plant level. A super-user effectively navigates and utilizes the purchasing, receiving, warehousing, manufacturing, routing, shipping and report generation functions of the Oracle system. I played a major role, mostly by training hourly and management associates, in Hollander Home Fashions Georgia Plant implementation of ORACLE’s ERP system. Start-up experience includes being selected as an initial supervisory member of Sara Lee Knit Products (SLKP) $20,000,000 plant opening. SLKP opening was then North America’s second-most technological textile plant.

• Provided management support, as a mentor/coach, to salaried supervisors in a multi-shift, multi-department operation
• Generated and published plant level production schedule, based on customer’s purchase orders cancel and ship dates

• Supervised production associates, lab technician and material handlers in a high-volume glass fiber manufacturing operation
• Responded to automated failures (plc faults) when key variables such as time, temperature, dispensing and transferring parameters were not met
