Senior Project Manager (Consultant)
• The goal of this project was to synchronize and perform data integration activities
between the NYC and NYS databases. Responsible for the automation of the real time
XML data feed from WorKSource1 to OSOS and supporting the current state. The current
state is periodic batch feeds which require analyses and repair for problem records.
Stakeholder management/reporting include NYC’s Department of Youth and Community
Development, Workforce1 career centers and NYS Department of Labor.

Responsible for all aspects of support and enhancements to the investment portfolio accounting
system. Staff level varied from 4 to 30 full time employees. Annual budget in excess of $3M.
• Technical lead for the migration of assets from Globeman (an in-house modified version
of Financial Models Company software) to PIMS accounting system.
• Successfully managed all technical aspects of the sale to Northern Trust of all passively
managed funds, both domestic and international. Coordinated numerous areas both within
the bank and with the buyer. Successfully implemented a strict bidirectional Chinese
firewall.
• Member of PMO responsible for enterprise projects, Business Continuity and Disaster
Recovery planning and testing. The business survived the 9/11 disaster with no data loss
related to IT systems.
• Managed the migration of international accounts from Portia to Globeman.
• Led a team setup to select a new investment accounting solution, specifically we targeted
Eagle Investment Systems Star and Pace.
• Responsible for the Change Management / production release process as final approver.

• Managed the Y2K remediation effort, both in-house and outsourced, for Globeman and
various related systems.
• Managed migration of Globeman and various related systems from the VAX to the ALPHA
platform.
This improved systems throughput vastly, allowing the business to expand with no increase
to the number of servers or staff required.
• Managed the role-out of an electronic broker order system. Delivered start up material
and documentation to over 100 brokers globally and served as primary contact for
resolution of all technical issues. This system supported increased trade volume and
met all audit requirements.
• Developed and supported daily data feed to a global data warehouse running Oracle on Sun
servers.
