Job description: Pile Driving Superintendant.

Duties Included: Oversee all Pile Driving and related operations at Regan National Airport Project, including on shore, H-Pile type foundation piles for building structures, off shore 80’ and 90’, steel pipe production and test piles for the construction of a new trestle to support approach and signal lighting for air traffic. Incidental duties include safety monitoring, communicating and coordinating with owner and owners representatives, recording pile driving Logs to ensure criteria is met, scheduling, procurement of supplies, General management of all floating Plant including operations and maintenance.

From December, 2010 to June, 2011: Dissen & Juhn Corporation, Stevensville, MD.

Job description: Crane/ Equipment Operator, Patuxent Naval Air Test Ctr.

Duties Included: Daily inspection and documentation of crane and rigging. Perform daily maintenance and repairs to crane. Evaluate potential for risk, oversee rigging operations, proficiently read and decipher load charts. Accurately calculate weights of load when not supplied. Develop and execute safe, critical lift plans. Communicate to others and adhere to all safe operation standards. Maneuver piling and pile driving leads and hammers into location. Job description: Barge/Crew Foreman, Cove Point LNG Terminal.

Duties Included: Supervision of multiple trades associated with the construction / fabrication of steel pile templates, various concrete forms, specialty steel fabrication and installation of structural steel components including fenders and mooring devices, installation of lighting and electrical distribution components. Installation of safety railings, elevated walkways and life saving equipment. Supervision of heavy crane lifts including placement of pre cast concrete components such as walkways and pile caps. Develop and execute logistical plans such as job sequencing, crane barge positioning, selection and inspection of heavy lift rigging and hardware. Conduct hazard analysis of tasks to be completed and conduct daily safety meetings. I meet daily with supervisory staff to give progress reports and discuss production and future tasks. I am directly responsible for tracking inventory and ordering materials, consumables and supplies relevant to my operations. I proficiently decipher plans, drawings and specifications associated with various tasks and convey to appropriate personnel for execution. I record workers hours for payroll and work to resolve any employee / labor issues within my control.
