• Setup and operated various blast media machines including: (Walnut hull, glass bead, steel shot, soda, and sand).

Precision Machining:

While attending Anniston High School I setup operated one or more CNC conventional mill machine Lathe, grinder, drill press, and power saw, metalize equipment etc. required in fabrication and modification of part components for variety of equipment. I selected proper types and sizes of material to establish work points. Setup and operated conventional machine tools and determined which machine required attachments and used proper sequence of operation on machines; I made adjustments to machines to ensure dimensional accuracy, to use jigs and fixtures to work to close tolerances (+/-.002) as normally required by blueprint drawings to use precision instruments such as calipers, scales, depth gages, micrometers, thread gages, dial indicators, and similar measuring devices common to the trade. I ensured hazardous waste materials was handled and processed within operating guidelines, I also have the full knowledge to adjust, setup cutting speeds and feed for machinery I also determined proper coolants, lubricants, or abrasives (sanders and other hand tools) to be used. Read interpret Blueprint sketches, drawings and received oral and written instructions relating to assignments in machine operation.
