In the department of Oral Surgery extracted more than 500 teeth including mesioangular impaction which honed my skills & gave me great confidence.

Also got an opportunity to assist many Senior Consultants in surgeries for the reduction of maxillary and mandibular fractures, cyst removal, impactions & oral antral fistula closure in Oral Surgery. It gave us a great sense of teamwork & learned a lot from my seniors & fellow colleagues.

Carried out treatments like; Pulpotomies, Pulpectomies & giving removable appliances like habit-breaking appliances, space maintainers.

While in the department of Orthodontics, did examination & diagnosis of patients with malocclusion & referring them to senior consultants. Also delivered removable ortho appliances

In department of prosthodontia I did 20 complete dentures, 10 RPD, 2 FPD and I assisted my seniors in implant cases.

In the department of Periodontics performed Supragingival & Subgingival Scaling with Polishing, curettage and root planning.

Worked in the department of operative dentistry where i learnt restorative work like Silver Amalgam Restoration, GIC Restoration, Light Cure Restoration, Root Canal Treatment & Bleaching procedures.

In the department of Community Dentistry along with my fellow interns held camps in schools, colleges and rural areas to create general awareness amongst people about oral hygiene, examined the patients, approx.200 amalgam restorations, 700 extractions, delivered around 50 complete dentures & referred them to the hospital for the required treatment.

I was also posted in Lehman Hospital, Uttranchal where I did intermaxillay fixation, mesioangular impaction, restorations

Work Experience

I worked as head of dept for 1year and 5 months in Philadelphia hospital,where I did around 60 root canal treatment, 100 amalgam and GIC restoration difficult extractions and impactions including distoangular and horizontal

5 inter maxillary fixations,15 FPD.

I assisted my seniors in around 30 fracture cases, and 35 space infection cases
