Store Manager

Responsibilities include day to day operations of the store, overseeing 90 employees both hourly and salary, currently managing the Regional Model and Training store. Also work directly with Corporate recruiting department for on campus recruiting of interns and management personnel.

4/2005-8/2007 Gabriel Brothers, Inc Beavercreek, Ohio

Responsibilities include day to day operations of the store, overseeing up to 150 personnel both salary and hourly. Duties also includes training store manager responsible for overseeing training of store managers and assistant managers with the Ohio market. Also part of inventory committee responsible for the implementation of sku based inventories.

Annual sales volume of $73.0 million. During my tenure with Home Depot I opened 3 new stores, requiring constant contact with General Contractors, Vendors and Merchants to insure timely openings. Worked with MIS department to implement new hardware and software systems when company converted to the AS400 system. This included training of all store merchants and store staffs. I was involved in 14 new store openings during my tenure with D.I.Y. Store big box warehouse size of 80K.
