Nicholas S. Stahon
I pride myself on the basic fundamentals of working with my hands and problem solving that were taught to me at an early age by my father who was a union worker. He was a journeyman boilermaker and certified code welder for over 25 years. I worked with him on projects of varying degrees and difficulties around the house and for others. After a time, he had given me the lead as we worked together and would give me advice as I asked because I believe it to be important to always learn and see different ways of doing things.
During and just after high school, I worked doing jobs such as landscape construction and new home construction along with a stint as an electricians’ helper and HVAC installer. Then, not long after high school, I entered the Boilermakers apprenticeship program where I spent 4 years learning some of the more intricate procedures to welding along with many other tools of the trade.
I feel I am able to pick up most of anything and I have the talent, confidence and determination for problem solving. I love to learn and work on challenging projects. I love dealing with people and am quite mechanically inclined. Additionally, organization, multitasking and a generally good work ethic would also accurately describe me.
