OBJECTIVES:
I would like to accomplish and fulfill my desire to work in a happy in an environment where I can offer my experiences. To learn more as I grow in a company or with an employer who is willing to give me a chance to improve my skills and perfect them. I would love to see the company grow as I grow if and when given the opportunity.
I'm 18 years old, I'm currently enrolled in my 3rd semester of college. This is however my first semester at the University of Phoenix, I switched schools so I would be able to work full time, or two part times to maintain a healthy living status. I currently live on my own with my boyfriend who is also a student looking for work.My current program is for my Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing, I hope to advance through a beginning position in a company and eventually break off into the marketing division after experience with the company and achieving My degree.
SKILLS:
*I have 5 years of Design Publishing experience; I am comfortable with computers and technology.
* I have held several leadership positions.
*Customer service has always been a strong area for me because I get along with others easily and can handle any situation properly.
* I can juggle and multi-task projects
*Most importantly can realize when I need help and will ask for it.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
*With the help of a wonderful teacher, I built the Vanden H.S. Step team from ground up. I took the initiative to do the paperwork, pass around the petitions, recruit faculty participants. I was previously captain of a traveling team D.Y.C. I really wanted to bring this sport to my high school and give the students a chance to express themselves through a different form of performing arts.
*I have 5 years of Design Publishing experience. Sophomore year of high school I became Assistant Business Manager/Editor. Junior and Senior Year I held the position of Business Manager. The first year I held this title I had no experience and although I could have definitely used some help I am very proud of the way all my projects turned out.
-As Business Manager I held many responsibilities. I handled all sales, receipts, and promotions. I planned four overall promotion events. I found myself loving the business aspect of the work so much I sort of lost touch with the design part. I enjoyed being a main contact and getting to interact with different people. I also handling advertisement. I recruited companies to purchase advertisements in the Vanden Yearbook.
*I was president of Vanden H.S's G.S.A, which is a unity club with the goal of maintaining peace among everyone with every difference on the campus as well as off.
