REGULATORY EXPERIENCE
• Pipeline regulatory experience with US Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in Washington, D.C. from 1978 to 1989.
• Participated in drafting the amendments to the pipeline safety program to include 49 CFR Part 193 for LNG regulations.
• Drafted legislation and regulations to Pipeline Safety Act resulting in clarifying DOT Enforcement program procedures. (49CFR Part 190)
• Drafted regulations re-regulating Pipelines subject to FERC.
• Effectively managed EHS regulatory and corporate policy compliance audits and risk assessments resulting in resolution of deficiencies and EHS risks.
• Developed EHS regulatory compliance audit and risk assessment programs and reports to enable management to make more informed decisions.
• Knowledge of Industry standards such as API, ANSI B31S, ASME, NFPA, GPTC and NACE.
