Experience

Digital Prepress / Production Artist (September 2004 to October 2008)

Prepress tasks including color correction, trapping, imposition and producing plates for our

printing facility. I did typesetting, scanning, creating spot separations, logo recreation and

otherwise setting up designs from original artwork or digital files per client specifications.

My main job was to produce proofs for customers in pdf format, digital hard copy or fax.

Digital Prepress (September 2000 to July 2004)

Sunset Press: 19713 - 58th Pl. S., Kent, Washington

Prepress tasks including typesetting business cards to preparing files supplied by customer

for production run on 40 inch 6/C press, including trapping, color correction and imposition.

Conventional and Digital Prepress (March 1998 to September 2000)

Forward Press: Wallingford, Washington

Conventional image assembly with film. Shot, stripped, proofed and plated all work for

pressroom, 25 inch 4/C Hamata to 40 inch 6/C Heidelburg. Digital output of film.
