Resume:

Jaclyn Connelly-Lane

Resume

My background revolves around the field of government related emergency dispatch, and I have 9 years of experience meeting the needs of patrons both over the telephone and in person. I have met the demands of fellow employees, my superiors, and customers simultaneously with a proven and excellent service record during my time as a Radio Dispatcher and Communications Technician. I am proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as other applications such as Peoplesoft. I fare well in Access, Lotus Notes, and Outlook. My communications skills are precise yet professional, and I am confident I would be able to handle even the most demanding challenges. When reviewing my resume, you will see that I was cross trained in high profile areas, particularly during my time at the OSHP Columbus Communications Center. I have coordinated and executed Red Cross blood and organ relays, CHEMPACK and LERP emergency relays, and prisoner transports as part of my daily routine at OSHP. At both of my stations at OSHP, I was often sought out to assist executive staff and peers with their technical issues. I have always been viewed as an asset to my superiors, and adapt with ease to ever-changing environments. It can also be noted that I have held security clearance for my entire term at both OSHP and Columbus Police that allowed me to perform BMV, Wants and Warrants Checks, and Computerized Criminal History checks. My experiences and background are varied and make me valuable, and gives me an advantage over other candidates. I am comfortable with a fluid environment and adapt to changes in work load and structure with ease. I am currently employed as an Independent Contractor for the Chronicle Telegram, and am one course away from an Associate of Arts at Lorain County Community College. I took a hiatus from full time work to focus on education and assist with the temporary disability of a family member. I look forward to continuing to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree using a University Partnership program with Bowling Green State University. Thank you for taking time to review my resume. I am certain you will not be disappointed in my qualifications, as there are few candidates available who have my extensive experience. I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
