Provide all aspects of maintenance, including facilities, for a research and development start-up company, in pursuit of a new lithium battery. Duties include mig / tig welding for vacuum systems, silver brazing, plumbing, pipe fitting, ductwork, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, along with general maintenance on facilities chillers, cooling towers, pumps, exhaust systems and production machinery. Responsible for overseeing crew of 10 in the service and rebuild department of rock crushing and paving equipment manufacturer. Hired as a welder of pressure vessels, and advanced into lead service position. Primarily producing and repairing jaw crushers, cone crushers, ball mills, shakers, and conveying systems. As a lead in the service department, I traveled to outside operations to troubleshoot, assess, repair or replace system components, utilizing blueprints, OEM manuals and other technical manuals. Worked closely with engineers, sales people, and other technicians to develop a strong working relationship with outside companies.
• Duties included mig submerged arc and stick welding, and air arcing and oxy/ acetylene cutting.
• Utilized blueprints and CAD drawings to manufacture truck frames and specially designed heavy equipment.
• Leadership duties included task supervision and skill training, along with time management and safety operations.
