Brief Summary

I was put out of a job as of April 1st 2006 when my plant was shut down with Ford Motor Company. Luckily, I had enough time in to retire with them. I enjoy building things and would like to further my work experience working for your company. I’m currently looking for work to support my family. I am certified for driving a forklift, JLG, scissor lifts, deck crane, and over head cranes. I’m open to new experiences in the work place and don’t mind traveling out of state either. I attended and completed a millwright course at BAC college in Granite City and can provide documentation, Also complete 8000 hours of apprenticeship.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

At Ford Motor Company….Correcting breakdowns, preventative maintenance, MWR’s (millwright repairs), steel fabrication, reading blueprints, unloading trucks, driving forklifts, deck cranes, JLG’s, Scissor lifts. Confined space, OSHA regulations, PMHV and HAZMAT training, lock out. Spare part inventory and ordering. Used hand tools, grinders, drill presses, steel brakes, shears, ironworkers. Aligned motors, gear boxes, sprockets, and couplings.

At Scheuck Steel…we built a concrete plant in Hannibal, MO from the ground up and a steel mill in Memphis , TN. Our project in Memphis was finished on November 23, 2008.
