Title : Basic seismic data processing, interpretation & AVO Studies.

Description :

In field data so much of noise is there. So we need to attenuate that noise and improve signal to noise ratio, so we do processing to that field data by applying various steps, like demultiflexing,velocityanalysis, migration, etc..Finally we interpret the processing data to know the geological structure which is beneath the earth surface. AVO is the direct hydrocarbon detection technic.AVO Stands for Amplitude Variation with Offset. The basic concept of AVO is the analysis Of the dependent reflectivity and AVO analysis is performed in gather mode. Hence AVO analysis is also called as pre-stack amplitude analysis. The AVO technique became very popular in the oil industry.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Attended for AIGU and SPG seminars.

• I have done my project at SPIC, ONGC, Panvel, Mumbai.
