• Achieved 25% cost reduction target established by Chrysler Material Cost Management team.
Replaced side impact counter measure from production EPP foam to concept PP cones keeping
same performance for side impact. Prepared RFP and carried out selection for purchase of parts
suppliers.
• Achieved critical timing target for the Ford overhead console program for plastic materials selection in
prototype parts build by performing non-linear simulations and test.
• Selected structural plastic material by simulation and testing for overhead console to receive SPE award.
• Managed company internal budget target requirements using the designer resources available in India and Spain office.
• Developed interior components and sheet metal structure for FMVSS requirements using LS-Dyna for GM small car program to eliminate design changes.

simulation and physical testing.

• Used fatigue analysis to develop test set-up to correlate rig response to proving grounds test data.
• Developed optimized design for bumper beam and bracket and analyzed various bumper tests based on
FMVSS standards. Force v/s. Time curve for all the design presented to OEM and explained the benefits
of proposed design.
• Worked with proving grounds to extract the data from test and correlate with simulation to validate the final product.
• Prepared technical presentation and presented in OEM customer meeting on weekly follow-up basis.
• Analyzed the side impact structural performance of mid size car for IIHS Standards.
• Analyzed NVH and normal modes simulation for full vehicle system.
• Performed non-linear analysis on GM small car twist axle. Spring rate and jounce rate were incorporated
in the FEA model to correlate maximum twist event test.
