ASSISTANT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-PACKAGING

Supervised a daily head count of 90-120 temporary employees. Established work priorities and carried out production process according to the goals set by company.

QUALITY SUPERVISOR – 3.5L Engine Line 2/08-11/08

Supported three client plants as problem-solver and quality expert. Shared plant safety, quality, delivery, costs, and morale goals with line supervisors on two shifts.

Directed daily activities of inspector and a torque specialist as well as performing hands-on role in maintaining high quality specifications on the 3.5 L engine line.

Worked closely with independent in-house auditors on daily, detailed inspections of random sample.

Quickly responded to all line calls regarding quality. Investigated; forms and leads teams of specialists, such as Engineering and Receiving Inspector, to solve problems quickly but thoroughly.

Tracked problems back to origin. Marked clean point, tags engines as “clean” or impacted, and accurately enters data into system to swiftly restore production levels.

Prepared and posted photo-illustrated quality alerts pinpointing station and solution for managers, supervisors, and workers.
