Recruitment & Resourcing; Managing recruitment life-cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas. Screening/Interviewing applicants against job specifications, conducting background checks, coordinating technical interviews, negotiations and closing the hire. Managing other activities such as Fitments (Fixation of salaries), joining formalities including reference check, induction modules.
HR & Administration Operations: Interfacing with management and heads of department for implementing HR policies & procedures in line with core organizational objectives and meeting SLAs. Conducting Exit Interviews, record findings and providing timely feedback. Posting advertisements for new requirements in Newspapers, Internet and in Trade Specific Magazines.
Budgeting & Relationship Management: Preparing annual budget for sourcing activities and monitoring the status of the budget on monthly basis thereby ensuring reduction in the expenses and recommending effective solutions to control the same. Developing and cementing healthy relations with various recruitment sources e.g. placement agencies, educational institutions, job portals, etc. Responsible for creating and maintaining a database of prospective candidates for meeting future requirements.
Payroll / Compensation & Performance Management: Ensuring parity in compensation at base pay levels, comparing ratios at different grades for maintaining the parity in compensation across the organization. Overseeing the gamut of payroll activities viz. salary data management, salary processing, salary slips, and resolving grievances.
Training & Development; Developing training & development initiatives for improved productivity, building people capability and quality enhancement. Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for particular positions and analysis of the existing level of competencies. Equipping the new entrants about organization vision, mission, work culture, structure, hierarchy, rules & regulations, discipline matter, job profile, leaves & other terms and conditions.
Employees Welfare / Retention: Managing welfare measures like employee development plans, career pathing, resource deployment, etc. to enhance motivation levels and productivity; organising employee encouragement programmes. Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations. Maintaining attendance registers of leave records for salary and wage administration as well as for controlling absenteeism. Managing PF, ESI, Mediclaim & other employee registration forms.
