Mortuary Office Manager

Support location manager and seven funeral arrangers in the day-to-day operations of mortuary office for a large establishment. Maintain records and files in the location that relate to deceased person(s) funeral arrangements, vital statistics, financial arrangements, payment history (accounts receivable report), life insurance claims, and certain government benefits. Database updates and enquires to ensure accounts receivable are accurate and credits issued accordingly. Review vendor invoices against contracts to confirm proper billing and payments. Major objectives are to produce error-free documents on a timely basis, track/log death certificates, manage SOX compliance, time keeper in People Soft and other duties assigned by the location manager.

Sr. Corporate Property Administrator

Performed numerous duties associated with this position to support the Director and Deputy Director for Corporate Property along with the Government Property Managers/Administrators throughout SAIC and with limited supervision in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines and, able to adjust to irregular hours to meet office surge requirements. Primary Corporate Property related duties included project support, accurate preparation and timely submission of Annual Financial Reports for several Governmental agencies, prepare monthly reports to support Corporate and Group/BU’s, maintain/support numerous departmental and SAIC wide databases designed to minimize data entry, automating tasks and allow for a more user friendly environment. CPVA user provisioning (permission assignment, maintaining audit tables, password resets, new customer and location codes), perform data integrity audits of the government property database and performing system maintenance including record conversions, deletions and troubleshooting system related issues. Performed helpdesk responsibilities, system functionality/usage and issue escalation. Interfaced with the SAIC Government Property Managers/Administrators on problem troubleshooting and create and conduct testing scenarios. Generate numerous complex data reports from the information contained in the SQL tables using database tools such as MS Access, DDA, SAP and CPVA. Extensive database creation, usage and, maintenance for Risk Assessments according to strict guidelines for the Contractor Self Oversight (CSO) between SAIC and DCMA San Diego. Created and maintained MS Project schedule/matrix, quarterly analysis updates for Risk Assessment scheduling. Support, audit and processed Annual Inventory efforts for over 20K line items, first level support for submission and successful completion of Plant Clearance schedules (PCARSS) that can be as many as 700 line items per case that have specific and extremely complex requirements/deadlines governed by DCMA San Diego, DCMA and Non-DCMA Property Closeouts that average over 400 closeouts per month, yearly Loss Reporting, monthly Subcontractors and Scorecard download/reports and, the submission and

consequent follow-up of all processes according to appropriate Governmental agency requirements as well as SAIC internal processes. Regular interaction (liaison) and communications with DCMA Property Administrator and DCMA Plant Clearance Officers on behalf of SAIC as well as, a secondary point-of-contact for SAIC and Government personnel on behalf of the Corporate Property Director and Deputy Director. Acted as the first level of support for the new DCMA IUID database processes, functionality and usage on behalf of SAIC for all DCMA contracts with all dollar amounts. Was the first level support for all Corporate Property Website design/layout and updates on a weekly/quarterly basis and provided a more automated and stream-line way to communicate with the property community within SAIC. Ensured timely and accurate “G-tag” assignment, authorization and distribution for all non-deliverable property. Created and presented complex animated charts/interactive visual modeling data analysis with visual presentations to report yearly/monthly or period data for Corporate and BU activities according to subject matter. In initial stages of implementation and assistance with the migration of new GPDB slated to be fully operational in 2008.

Contracts Assistant/Property Administrator

Performed various duties in support of the Group Director, Contracts Manager and the Contract and Subcontract Departments. Under limited supervision, assignments included Contracts Database data entry, generation/maintenance of numerous Excel spread sheets, reports and logs, as well as creation/maintenance of Excel spread sheets with regard to contract proposals, closeouts and archival of same. Initiated/completed over 200 contract close-outs during FY03 with a final invoice value of approximately $16 million dollars. Generated ACB's from the Contracts Database, maintain contract files from inception to closeout and distribute correspondence electronically or via database entry for Share Point archival and viewing.
