Conduct all facets of computer modeling, planning and detailed engineering using process improvement techniques, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, construction engineering, and project management.

Sr Engineer, Mgr of Struct. Division and PM - MS Consultants, Inc., Columbus, Ohio (2004-2008)

Trained, motivated, and led a cross-functional team of engineers, detailers, and technicians on many projects using process improvement approach. Directly managed computer modeling, analysis, and detail design of buildings, bridges, cost estimate, and construction engineering and project management. Boosted bottom-line profits by performing all facets of consulting and business development and coordinating between owner and sub-consultants.

Bridges: Designed and submitted plans for a broad range of bridges including site plans, abutments, integral abutments, piers, decks, piled foundation, constructability evaluation and construction staging per Ohio BDM and AASHTO requirements. CDMS10-FR161, Columbus: Project Manager coordinated & answered questions from the contractor for the construction phase including resolving the site issues for this $70.00 million project.

Buildings: Handled computer modeling analysis and design of single-, two-, and three-story building facilities, as well as construction inspection, shop drawing review, and evaluation of any claims.

Facilitated all facet and phases of computer modeling structural analysis and design of 31-story and 22-story condominiums in Panama City Florida using ETABS, SAFE and PCA programs.

Vice President of Engineering and Senior PM - Sylla Inc., Tampa, Florida (2001-2002)

Sr. Engineer/Project Lead Engineer - Owens Corning Science & Technology Center, Granville, OH (1994-1997)

Led successful product development, computer aided analysis, design and technical feasibility study, and evaluation of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) composites for components for automotive, buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure applications. Collaboratively worked with the US Army Corps Engineers CERL, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and VPI and State University in the development and application of smart tagged particles to monitor the performance of composites.
