Cold Draw Supervisor
Direct and lead stainless steel tubing manufactured primarily for car makers. I assisted in the start up of the plant in 2001 by establishing operational policies and implementing process improvements to ensure superior quality and outstanding production while providing a safe and pleasant place to work. Directly manage three group-leaders and 24 operators covering all three shifts. Wrote work instructions for each job in the department following the ISO 9000 qualifications. Oversee daily floor operations; ensure production schedule is maintained to obtain 100% on time delivery. Do daily production schedule for all three shifts. Do process audits for ISO 9000 to ensure compliance of standards. Coach employees on maintaining conformance to specifications, work with engineering on cost improvements and with maintenance on scheduled PM’s.
