Client Electronic Data Systems (EDS) – A HP company

Project Daimler is one of the leading company in the US. The main goal of the project is to migrate the Daimler’s financial transactions data related to Account receivables, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory, Goods Receipts ,Purchase orders which exists in ERP system(DIBS) to SAP legacy system(CBFC) so that all the financial activities are handled in CBFC after the implentation. The financial transactions are split into different interfaces. The main goal is to transmit all the interfaces from DIBS to CBFC system through the batch jobs (Unix shell scripts), PRO*C programs, Database objects and forms through middleware PI.

Role Sr. Oracle/Forms Developer

Responsibilities  Involved in gathering the requirements and system specifications from users.

The system validates the users input, perform the credit scoring of the customer and if all the criteria’s are satisfied then the card is generated. The system has an interface with an external system to generate the PIN and TPIN numbers

(2) Intellect Cards – Customer Services: This module of the Credit Cards Product help the bank address all the customer queries in the call center. This module also handles the closure, renewal and reissue of cards. This module has the facility of increasing the credit limit of the card. There will be a screen available in this module where all the financial activities of the card are displayed.

(3) Intellect Cards – Billing and Customer Payments: This module of the Credit Cards Product help the bank to process all customer statements. The module contains programs that run EOD and EOM. The billing engine will calculate all the interest accrued by the customer and knock off all the payments and calculates the minimum payment due and the total amount due for the customers and generates the statements. The customer payments module tracks all the payments received from the customer.
