For the last 7 years I have learned the craft of Industrial Heat Treating. I worked my way through the ranks from green helper to senior field technician. I really enjoy the work and the process of heat treatment. Due to the instability of the economy and the frequency of work slowing, I am forced to contemplate a career change.

Level I Heat Treating Technician

• Assist Tech II in set-up/tear-down of equipment

• Assist Tech II in project execution and daily tasks

• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance services

Level II Field Heat Treating Technician

• Lead JR Technicians in set-up/tear-down of equipment

• Programming and monitoring of heat treat consoles and recorders

• Properly documenting welds heat treated and crew hours and tasks performed

• Hardness testing

Level III Senior Field Technician

• Supervise Level I and Level II Technicians while in the field

• Perform job walks with client and estimate project needs
