Managed the daily operations of the Assistant Commissioner’s Office, and served as primary point of contact for administrative matters. Applied and interpreted applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures in handling and administering program matters/actions. Provided professional support to the Assistant Commissioner by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports and presentations. Reviewed, prioritized and handled correspondence received in the Assistant Commissioner’s Office, and assigned and followed up on tasks/projects given to the Assistant Commissioner’s Executive Team. Served as executive secretary to the Assistant Director and Budget Manager. Assisted with researching, compiling and typing biennial department budget as well as material prepared for the Department of Planning and Budget. Received and reviewed Federal material for impact on department and distributed to appropriate staff for action/review. Arranged travel reservations for the department’s central office of more than 250 employees.
