Alliance & Leicester is one of the UK's major financial services groups
Alliance and Leicester Bank (A&L) is replacing its existing banking business process/systems with Alnova core banking system from Accenture. In order to implement Alnova and to meet its cost objectives, A&L engaged Perot Systems (Perot) to support CORE and other requirements from offshore (India). During this assignment the offshore team provided automated testing solution for the ALNOVA system which was being implemented in A&L as per the automation approach suggested to client. The TCERs prepared during previous phase were automated and were used during regression test cycle

Omni Plus, a package marketed by Sunguard exists on various platforms including AS/400, Main Frame, UNIX & WINDOWS. Annuity Board has decided to move to Omni Plus on Windows. Annuity Board had over the period of time developed some small applications (about 60) around this product, which use the data of Omni Plus. As a result of the above migration, these 60 stand-alone small applications need to be migrated to MF COBOL on Windows, Windows Scripts & ISAM files.
