The title of my medical Doctorate (Dermatology) thesis is: Evaluation of different dermatological disorders using Optical Coherence Tomgraphy.

Worked as a research fellow in Dermatology Department, Roskilde Hospital, Copenhagen University. worked on a project entitled ( Evaluation of Psorisis Vulgaris using Optical Coherence Tomography) from December 2005 till September 2007.

Working nowadays as a lecturer of Dermatology, Venereology and Andrology, Dermatology Department, Assuit University.

Brief Summary of experience:

The Dermatology clinic in Assiut University Hospital serves an average population of 15000000, from Assiut and the Whole Upper Egypt. During my service in the department, I covered general, as well as specialized skills. My duties included supervising junior colleagues in the clinics and, as well as conducting the weekly teaching sessions (Dermatology which is part of internal Medicine) for the 6th year medical students.

I joined the staff of Assiut University Hospital in March 2002. My weekly duties in Dermatology department included preparing the interesting clinical cases with full investigations and biopsy for differential diagnosis in our weekly educational meeting in the department. I regularly participated in the departmental meetings, audit meetings, and regional scientific meetings. I stayed for 2 years in Copenhagen University hospitals as a clinical fellow.

Surgical and Laser Experience in Assiut university hospital

I performed the following:

1-I performed laser therapy (ER: YAG laser) and KTP Laser .

2- Minor procedures in form of biopsy, electrocautary, Cryotherapy of common, and plantar warts.

3- I have a good experience in Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling.

4- I have a good experience in Optical coherence Tomography (OCT) as a diagnostic modality in different dermatological disorders during my stay in Denmark.
