SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 Restructured Financial Systems. Tasked to organize Stonebrook Roofing’s filing and accounting systems. Identified problem areas, working overtime to organize the filing system. Standardized use of accounting program (Quickbooks). Established auditable financial records, substantially reducing outside accounting costs.

 Coordinated Project Bidding. Kiewit Companies’ bid on major project needed to be aligned with key competitor that had been recently acquired. Met with estimate counterparts. Reviewed, organized overall estimate, aligning information into a common bid. Presented to senior management prior to submitting winning bid.

 Expanded Market Presence. Stonebrook wanted to expand into the new construction roofing market. Researched companies and jobs going to bid. Targeted companies that focused on new buildings. Developed relationships with residential and commercial general contractors. Increased revenues 10%, remaining profitable in tough times.

 Negotiated Major Change Order. Kiewit needed to establish control over contract alterations by project owner. Tracked quantity and costs of materials. Identified variances between actual work done and contracted agreement. Reviewed changes with owner, negotiating a $100K change order to compensate company.
