• Client representative assigned to Olefins and Utilities, responsible and monitor the works of Contractors.

• Responsible for all field inspection and verification of field instrument installation including electrical panel for instrument, according to ExxonMobil global and international practice.

• Conduct inspection such as Control and On-off valves, Transmitters (Flow, Temperature, Level, Pressure, Vibration and others)

• Witness field Calibration and Loop checking.

• Check Loop Folder prior to Loop checking.

• Visual inspection of the instruments to determine any defects or damage and ensure compliance to specification.

• Liaise with Contractor on all Quality aspects of the project.

• Coordinate and supervision at contractor quality work.

• Ensure implementation of company Quality plans throughout the Project;

• Solve any Quality related problems that may arise.

• Inspection at systems and signed off MCR’s (mechanical completion records) for instrument calibration, installation, cable installation and termination, following project specification and standard of quality.

• Raising punch lists and monitoring punch lists clearing.

• Supervision and witness at instrument calibration in calibration shop or in field to ensure that all instrument checked are as per data sheet and in conformity with project standard.

• Visual inspection for complete and correct installation of instruments, cables, and junction boxes.

• Visual inspection for complete and correct installation of unit control panels, systems and termination cabinets.

• Detailed visual inspection of all hazardous area Ex certified instrumentation to ensure installation and equipment meet the relevant standards.

• Supervision and witness at pressure testing of air supply tubing, pneumatic impulse and hydraulic instrument tubing.

• Responsible for all field quality verification and inspection activities according to method of statement, inspection and test plans (ITP) in assigned area.

• Surveillance and inspect of on-going electrical installations as per standard / drawing and project specifications.

• Prepare Dossier/Turn-Over for the Client.

• Ensure the effective coordination with the client related to inspection, testing activities and documentation.

• Coordinate and assist to other Engineering discipline to resolve or prevent problems related to inspection and testing activities to meet schedule and avoid any delay of activities.

• Check installation of earthing, lighting protection (earth rod, earth bus bar, earth ring bus bar, cable earthing and earth terminals) as per approved project specification and local or international code and standard.

• Loop impedance test, luminance testing and cathodic protection testing.

• Motor preservation and MV-Motor PI test (winding resistance and IRT test, RTD’s, space heater, and thermistor)

• Responsible in field quality verification and inspection activities according to method of statement, inspection and test plans (ITP) such as cable pulling and termination of Instrument cables, installation of cable tray, installation of field mounted Instrument such as Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level transmitter, CCTV, Flame and Gas detector, witness calibration check of Instrument to higher accuracy and standards for process control measurement.

• Internal surveillance inspection during installation phase.

• Preparation and documentation of Instrument check sheet as per ITP requirements.

• Preparation of Field Inspection Request (FIR) and attend field inspection and assist client recommendation and comments for immediate rectification.
