Resume:

August *, ****

Human Resources Manager

Greetings,

In response to your notice on Indeed.com web site for a Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer, please review my cover letter and resume. My qualifications match your position requirements.

BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Oregon State University.

Seven years of experience of Quality Engineering experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing environment.

I have in depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 and have written numerous procedures, work instructions and training documents keeping the ISO requirements in mind. I am qualified as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.

I developed, implemented and maintained a defect monitoring system using Defects Per Million (DPM) to identify components that needed quality improvements. The same system also reflected improved quality from suppliers.

Have used control charts, run charts, PARETO graphs, Gage R&Rs and other SPC tools to control processes and monitor supplier process controls.

More than ten years of experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio and some work with MS Project. Other work with NW Analytical, Data Mite and QI Macros quality software packages

Five years experience as the leader of the Material Review Board. The team researched root causes and documented and implemented corrective actions.

In the spring of 2004 I took a 40 hour training session for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

I have used this training to help implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about this position.
