I am a digital native who has worked as a professional web developer since 1999. In 2003 I founded the highly successful ONet Designs which served the European education and non-profit community almost exclusively through Drupal and other open-source platforms. A perfectionist, compulsive problem-solver, they gave me a PhD just so I would finally stop being a student. BUT … these tendencies have helped me achieve high-level proficiency in custom module and theme development alongside nearly a decade of senior-level experience in all facets of Drupal project development from client consultation to post-deployment support and training. I can speak fluently with either Geeks or Muggles, am equally effective working independently or as part of a team, and have more than a decade’s experience managing sub-contractors, junior developers, and third-party consultants. Following nearly a third of my life aboard I am returning to the States and am seeking a challenging position to engage my passion for creativity and professional development.

Front Line Human Rights Defenders (frontlinedefenders.org) 2010-2012

• Combined five independent Drupal 5 sites into a single, multi-language installation

• Upgraded custom Drupal 5 modules and transitioned site into version 6

• Created custom modules and themes in accordance with client expectations

• Provided ongoing security, maintenance, and Drupal optimizations (APC, custom php.ini, etc.) for Linux server

• Through May 2012, have managed transition to newly-created in-house programming team and provided user documentation for international users

National Adult Literacy Agency (nala.ie) 2008-2011

• Managed transition from custom IIS system providers to Drupal deployment inclusive of system and visual (re)design

• Developed and upgraded systems for e-commerce (inclusive of custom API development and integration with existing merchant), document management and social media
