As a T1 technician, my duties were to test T1 lines with a T-BERD.
* Troubleshoot T1 alarms on cell sites for AT&T. Punch down 25 pair wire onto 66 blocks. Run and install cat 5e for new T1 lines for UMTS.
* Assist AT&T field techs with troubleshooting faulty LMU’s, Carrier Access Units, Equipment Alarms.
* Perform “slides” at night when installing new UMTS cabinets, T1 lines, CSU’s or when moving outdoor equipment indoors to a shelter….etc.
