10/12 – Present – Carolina Fraternal Corporation and Youth Camp Board of Directors. Director conferring with other board members to establish and/or upgrade programs to enhance the camping experience for participants, ensure facilities are properly maintained, retain American Camp Association certification, and obtain financial solvency through fund raising, donations and grants.

09/10 – Present – Retired. Performs approximately 30 hours of volunteer services per week.

03/10 – 08/10 – United States Census Bureau, Assistant Team Leader, Numerator and Questionnaire Center Representative. Temporary, part-time position verifying accuracy of ambiguous data provided to the 2010 Census.

9/07 – 1/10 - Woodmen of the World, 100 Woodbay Court, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. Field Representative selling life insurance, annuities and other financial products while servicing and assisting over 800 existing members in their efforts to develop and meet their financial goals.

2/05 – 9/07 - South Carolina Fraternal Corporation and Youth Camp, 115 Atrium Way, Suite 128, Columbia, SC 29223. Fraternal Coordinator for Woodmen of the World, South Carolina. I directed, coordinated and tracked the fraternal activities and financial solvency of 150 lodges with over 47,000 members. Additionally, I served as Director of Camp Beaver Lake with full responsibility for the operation, safety and maintenance of the facility. I obtained re-accreditation for the camp from the American Camp Association.

12/95 – 9/04 - Manpower, 209 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. On-Site Manager of United Parcel Service’s National Collection-On-Delivery Processing Site. Directed the operational activities of up to 12 supervisors, 24 coaches and 280 associates in the on-line disposition of approximately 325,000 COD payments, 300 customer service calls, 250 collection calls, and the processing 120 level I and II collection letters daily. Tracked production and quality levels on all associates through a comprehensive internal audit system to ensure the highest level of quality customer service and to focus training assets more effectively. Responsible for all human resources functions including screening, selecting, hiring, training, benefits administration, payroll, performance appraisals, mentoring, recognition, conflict resolution, counseling and terminating.

1/92 -7/95 - Pinkerton Security Services, 455-A, St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Branch Manager for Central South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia with full profit and loss responsibility to include management of accounts payable/accounts receivable and collections. Planned, directed and administered the marketing of security, investigations, and security consulting services. Provided armed and unarmed security officers to over 100 customers. Provided third party, first line maintenance, cash replenishment, and daily balancing and malfunction response for over 200 automated teller machines for six financial institutions at over 120 locations. Personally conducted physical security evaluations of all service locations to ensure adequate security measures were in place. Investigated, interviewed, hired, equipped, trained and licensed a security force to perform all of these services.
